Characteristics:

High-pressure laminate (HPL), also called phenolic compact, is composed of layers of paper impregnated with thermosetting melamine-formaldehyde resins on the surface and phenol-formaldehyde resins in the core. This manufacturing process is carried out by pressing at high pressure (≥ 7 MPa) and high temperature (≥ 120°C).

HPL exhibits several qualities, most notably its resistance to heat, scratches, and abrasion. Furthermore, its non-porous surface provides impermeability, making it a suitable choice for both interior and exterior applications. Its versatility positions it as an ideal material for contract applications, offering durability and aesthetic appeal in diverse environments and uses.
